When must a legal entity report the chain of control to the transparency register?

The chain of control must be reported if there are at least two intermediary levels between the legal entity and the beneficial owner, if a trust or fiduciary arrangement forms part of the structure, or if a freezing measure under the Embargo Act or the Federal Act of 18 December 2015 has been imposed on a beneficial owner (Art. 15 para. 1 LETO).
